Cushion Caroms, the electroacoustic trio formed by Takeshi Nishimoto (guitar), 1605munro and Miwon (electronics) in 2008, is the sum of its musical characters. Using the jazzy and soulful sound of Nishimoto's guitar as the main source, the band catalizes the roots of its members, casting Nishimoto's virtuosity, 1605munro's experimental approach and Miwon's unique sense of electronic pop in a compact production. The result of this encounter is no head-scratcher, but a unique way of developing and manifesting a common favourite sound, putting a kind of spell on the listener.
